Summer Reading!!! Yay!!

I am an avid reader...but only in the summer.  Thank goodness it is summer and I am finally able to indulge in this most excellent of hobbies.  Being a teacher, the school year is full of reading; reading kids' writing, reading stories with children, reading (and grading) spelling tests...not my favorite kind of reading.  But in the summer I can live in worlds beyond my own.  My favorite books are intended for older children and teens, but the stories are fabulous.  I love fantasy, historical fiction, a little bit of science fiction, and realistic fiction.  I can spend hours disappearing into these enchanting worlds.  I have read several great books and have a quite a large list waiting to be read.  So far I have only read books by Margaret Peterson Haddix including:

 and am currently reading Sabotaged

All were quick but good reads!

Summer is moving so quickly and I have so many more great books to read!
